Timbalero - El Gran Combo (1981) - Ampeg BB4

Just plugged in my 4-string Baby and started playing, 3rd take, not having played this tune for 15 yrs, recorded with no effects, no compression, not even EQ ! Just the tone knob fully closed, plugged straight into mixing console, than into notebook Mic In. That's what an Ampeg Baby Bass sounds like, and also how it is meant to sound. Trying to play the tumbao in a nice clean way with legato bound notes (stamina!) all the way through, only allowing for some impro towards the end. Watch the left knee ! The clave probably shifts here and there between 2-3 and 3-2 but my knee did not always catch that well :).
