Inside Tim Samaras' Storm Chasing Operation | Probes and High Speed Cameras
Tim Samaras, one of the organizers of the National Storm Chaser Convention that some of you might know for the Discovery Channel show Storm Chasers, talks to us about his probes and high speed camera lightning work. Sadly Tim left us way too soon as he passed away in 2013 doing what he loved most, chasing tornados and trying to put probes in front of them. I personally miss his presence ever single time I'm on the road storm chasing and I'm so happy I recorded this brief memory of him. Videographer: http://daviddrummond.com
