How to Awaken and find the True Self. Advaita Satsang

A really special Satsang. In this talk, we are reminded that silence is more powerful than words. How the root of suffering lies in the “I-thought,” which falsely identifies with the body and its experiences. By learning to catch this “I,” and by resting in the I-am - pure consciousness - we discover freedom from the ups and downs of mind and body. Through simple effective analogies the teaching reveals that what we see as the world is only a projection, superimposed upon the Self. It calls us to trust the “power that knows the way,” to surrender our concepts, and realise that beyond all images, beyond even the teaching itself, nothing exists but the Self — bliss, harmony, peace, and love. --------------------------- I shot the video yesterday near Little Asby in the Westmoreland Fells, bordering the English Lake District. As usual here we had four seasons in one day - but when the sun comes out and the clouds move across the hills there are few places on Earth I'd rather be. 🙏🏻 I hope you enjoy it. Lots of love, Andy --------------------------- If you want to know more about the teacher here, I'm afraid you'll need to do a little sniffing. I'm very sorry about that... This Satsang is drawn from the words of a teacher who I’m choosing not to name. We had an issue with some earlier videos which included material that had been in the fist book published. I removed those and later agreed to remove any content that mentioned the teacher's name at the request of one of the copyright holders. The current videos do not replicate any copyrighted material from the books or audio recordings and certainly don't infringe on any commercial or charitable opportunities. I'm just being very careful and over-compliant to avoid any grounds for malicious takedowns by non-copyright holders. Anyway, You found it... that's what matters 🙏🏻 ------------------- All work on this channel is offered under Fair Use Copyright Disclaimer under section 107 of the Copyright Act of 1976, allowance is made for “fair use” for purposes such as criticism, comment, news reporting, teaching, scholarship, education and research. The voice used here is created with audio tools and ai and is how I imagined a favourite teacher may have sounded had life circumstances been different. It is used for clarity and to convey a style and tone - it is not an accurate representation of an actual voice or recording. 181
