The 1986 Mercedes 1017A project just took a massive turn. What started as a simple renovation has officially become a "back to basics" rebuild. After tearing down the final wall, we had to face the reality: we’ve gone way further than planned. In this episode, we tackle the nightmare of water-damaged flooring. By using a router with a guide track, we precision-cut the old ply to make room for a seamless transplant. To ensure this truck lasts another 40 years, we’re finishing the floor with a deep-penetrating wood treatment and multiple coats of specialist hardener.
