TEXFAIR 2026 Opens in Coimbatore | International Textile Machinery Expo at CODISSIA

TEXFAIR 2026, the International Textile Machinery, Spares and Accessories Exhibition, has begun at the CODISSIA Trade Fair Complex on Avinashi Road in Coimbatore. The exhibition is organized by the Southern India Mills' Association (SIMA). The expo was inaugurated by Ramco Group Chairman and Managing Director P.R. Venketrama Raja, while Ashwin Chandran, Chairman of the Confederation of Indian Textile Industry (CITI), presided over the event. Companies from across India as well as Switzerland, Belgium, Italy, Japan and China are participating in the exhibition. A total of 240 companies with 258 stalls have been set up, and around one lakh visitors are expected to attend. The exhibition will be held until March 9 and will be open daily from 10 AM to 6 PM. Industry leaders said the event provides a great opportunity to explore new technologies and automation in the textile sector.
