10-year iPhone user switches to Galaxy S10+ (Ceramic Black) Reaction

So, I’ve been a hardcore apple user since the iPhone 3GS. Trust me, I would have bought an iPhone before that but - I was too young. I fell in love with what apple was doing. Every phone at the time was almost not comparable to the iPhone. After the iPhone 3GS I got the iPhone 4 , iPhone 4S , iPhone 5 , iPhone 5s (for a month) iPhone 6 , iPhone 6 Plus , iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone X , and now up till this day, I have the iPhone XS Max. I’m starting to question what apple is doing. Every iPhone just seems to be … the same. Sure, dont get it wrong, iPhones are super fast - and they get faster every year.. but , here is my problem. What do you do to show the speed? My brother has the iPhone 7 Plus, and he let me use it for a week (we switched phones) and I honestly didn’t notice any difference between my XS Max and his 7 Plus in terms of day-to-day activities (youtube, Netflix, instagram, snapchat, etc etc ) So again, that got me thinking .. what makes my phone worth $1,300? After all, his phone - the 7 Plus, you can pick up for around 500 dollars - even less if you get lucky. So what made my XS Max cost 800 more?! .. was it the Face ID ?.. Maybe the bigger display? maybe. But, in my honest opinion - I dont think Face ID and bigger display = $800 more dollars. What really made me ‘wake up’ , is the fact that the iPhones are capable to fast charge.. but , does apple include a fast charger in the box? nope. You gotta pay extra for that.. in fact, 70-80$ extra. So, for a 1,300 dollar phone - I now have to pay more money to really use the phone to its full potential. That is just not okay with me. Here is where the Samsung Galaxy S10 come into play. For 1,000 dollars you get the phone (clearly) but you if you preorder (which I did ) you also get the Galaxy buds for FREE - normally they are 130 dollars. Not only that, but Samsung includes a fast charger in the box! BUT not only that, even the Samsung phones include fast wireless charging at 15w as opposed to 10w that iPhones do. It just seemed right for me to sneak out of the apple ecosystem for a bit and try something new, with the Samsung galaxy s10+ , hence the video :) I hope you guys enjoy , and leave a comment if you think I made the right choice!
