Excavations at the ancient city of Aizanoi, located in the Çavdarhisar district of Kütahya and on the UNESCO World Heritage Tentative List, unearthed a 2.10-centimeter-high male statue, as well as the heads of statues of the Greek mythology gods Eros and Dionysus, and the demigod Heracles. Excavation Director Prof. Dr. Gökhan Coşkun stated that the statues date back 2,000 years, adding, "The male statue, 2.10 meters high, is missing only half of its base and one foot; the other parts are completely preserved."
