Combo panel van conversion into practical 5 seater

Please be aware that we didn't film everything as this is a customers vehicle and we were on a time scale. In this video I was asked to go see ‪@trimportersvanconversions6973‬ and help on a little van conversion, converting a 2008 vauxhall combo van into the crew van, basically turning the van from a 2 seater panel van into a 5 seater crew van with windows. The plan was to find seats from a similar shape corsa or astra and then remove the seats and install on the combo, however as luck turned up on the day Russ found a non-runner combo crew van, a van that had the seats and brackets that would fit exactly as it should from factory. We set about removing the false floor from the original van and cleaning everything before moving on to remove the seats, belts, mounting points, etc from the donor van. We test fitted the seats, found the mounting points, then tacked it in place with my 25+ year old welding machine. Once we were happy I then fully welded the mounts in place. Moving on we fitted 2 side windows and then added 2 windows in the rear barn doors, the rear windows had a slight green tint and they didnt match the side windows so I went ahead and tinted the rear windows with 20% carbon tint. Russ then done an amazing job of carpet lining the rear of the van along with the roof lining, and finishing the back off with some heavy duty rubber matting. The van then had a full valet and was ready for customer collection.
