※Click "cc" on the lower right menu to choose English language. 今天阿霞和家人上山去掐蕨菜，绿油油的一大片，一抓就是一大把。我们提着背篓，边走边采，不一会儿就装满了好几袋。拿回家泡一晚，第二天用腊肉炒、用番茄炒，还可以凉拌，味道太香了！这种头茬蕨菜一年只有这一次，错过就要等来年了，真是山上最珍贵的味道。 Today, A Xia and her family went up the mountain to pick bracken ferns. The hills were covered in green, and we could grab a whole bunch with each handful. Carrying baskets on our backs, we picked as we walked, and soon filled several bags. After soaking them overnight at home, we cooked them the next day—stir-fried with cured pork, with tomatoes, or served cold. The flavor was amazing! This first batch of spring bracken only comes once a year—miss it, and you’ll have to wait until next year.
