Uttarkashi Cloudburst: जहां फटा बादल वहां मौजूद Harsil Base Camp हुआ गायब,बनी खतरनाक झील|Uttarakhand Like Dharali, a large lake was formed in Harshil due to the disaster on August 5. The reason for this was that the debris came from the hill with water and it blocked the flow of Bhagirathi. The width of the river reduced by several feet and turned into a narrow river, due to which a large lake was formed in the area before it. This lake is formed just before Harshil town.
