EXPOSING THE TRUTH: WHY WE GOT EVICTED

I was living in Canada, working hard, doing what most people are told to do, save money, stay focused, build stability. I was preparing to purchase my very first home. Papers were moving. Plans were forming. My future felt… predictable. And then something strange happened. A coworker of mine started behaving in ways that completely threw me off. At first, I brushed it aside. But little by little, situations started unfolding that pushed me away from the purchase entirely. Looking back now, I still wonder: Was that setback actually protection? Because shortly after that, my life took a turn I never saw coming. I started YouTube. Now at the time, it didn’t feel like some grand destiny. It was just an idea. A camera. A voice. A risk. But almost immediately after starting… everything around me began to shift. And not in a comfortable way. I ended up getting evicted from my house. Imagine that for a second. One minute you think you’re about to become a homeowner in Canada… and the next minute, you’re trying to figure out where your life is even going. Then only a few months later, another massive pressure landed on me: Permanent residency. At that point, I was standing at a crossroads. No clear direction. No guarantee anything would work. No clue whether I had made the biggest mistake of my life… or the best decision I never intended to make. And here’s the crazy part: Sometimes life removes you from one path because it sees something you can’t yet see yourself. Back then, I thought everything was falling apart. But what if it was actually being rearranged? Fast forward through years of uncertainty, pressure, growth, lessons, sacrifices, and moments I can barely even explain… 2024 arrives. And instead of purchasing a home in Canada… I purchased land in Jamaica. Not only that I made a decision that completely changed how I viewed my future: I decided I was going to build my own home. From the ground up. And standing here now, heading into 2026, I can honestly say this journey has been bigger than houses, bigger than YouTube, and bigger than immigration papers. It became a story about direction. About timing. About losing things you thought you needed… only to discover they were leading you somewhere else entirely. Because if you told the 2017 version of me , the stressed, confused, uncertain version of me that one day I’d own land in Jamaica and be building a future on my own terms… I probably wouldn’t have believed you. But maybe that’s how life works sometimes. The closed doors. The delays. The confusion. The detours. Maybe they’re not always punishments. Maybe sometimes… they’re coordinates. And in this video, I want to take you through every part of that journey, the moments that made no sense at the time, the setbacks that secretly redirected me, and how everything somehow led me here.
