Hey there! In this video I talk about the precautions one must take if they are hypothyroid. This is a relatively common conditions with women. A hypothyroid patient does not produce the optimal amount of the thyroid hormone. Additionally, as we age, our bodies tend to produce less of the thyroid hormone as well. Often, when a hypothyroid patient fasts for too long, their metabolism shuts down in order to get ready for "hybernation" due to the reverse T3 hormone being produced.
