The Prelude to Act 1 of Wagner's *Lohengrin*, recorded during the Lucerne Festival in 1947 and 1949. This renowned performance has been passed down through generations through various forms, thanks to the restoration of the original test pressings that were in the possession of Mrs. Furtwängler. However, after examining the nine existing reissue LPs and CDs, we discovered some interesting results. The "Mainichi Classic" blog was a major driving force behind the creation of this video. However, to avoid preconceived notions, I deliberately did not thoroughly read their analysis. I'm looking forward to seeing where my findings align and where they differ!
