Why We Love Travelling Without a Plan | On Our Way to Cape York

Travel for us is never really planned. We usually have a destination in mind (this time it’s Cape York), but what happens along the way is anyone’s guess... and that's exactly why we love life on the road. We settle back into travel mode as we make our way through regional Queensland, chasing interesting stops, good food, and those unexpected moments that end up becoming the best memories. In this episode we: Explore the incredible Boolboonda Tunnel Visit the historic Mount Perry Copper Smelter Taste fresh oysters and finger limes at Bargara Spend time exploring Bowen Discover some of Queenslands low cost camping Not every stop is a major tourist attraction, but that's kind of the point. Sometimes the best days on the road are made up of little detours, local recommendations, and places you almost drive straight past. So... was it worth the drive? You'll have to decide. If you enjoy slow travel, off-grid camping, overlanding, caravanning and discovering Australia one stop at a time, we'd love to have you along for the journey. If you’re enjoying our videos, we’d really appreciate a 👍. Then let us know in the comments: which stop would have been worth the drive for you?
