Darwins Schildkröten: Das Vermächtnis des Evolutionsbiologen auf Mauritius | Doku in 4K

Since the discovery and settlement of Mauritius 400 years ago, humans have significantly impacted the fragile ecosystem. Some native species, such as the dodo, the giant tortoise, and the Mauritius falcon, have been wiped out. None other than Charles Darwin, the founder of evolutionary biology, reintroduced the Aldabra tortoises. His legacy continues to this day on the offshore island of Îles aux Aigrettes, Mauritius' "Noah's Ark."
