Manual o Automático ¿Cuál es Mejor y Por Que? | Velocidad Total

Cars have different types of gearboxes, but which is better: a manual or an automatic? In this video, we'll focus on and compare automatic and manual transmissions in a sporty context. We'll see which is better and how an automatic transmission performs on curves, when overtaking, going uphill, downhill, etc. Similarly, we'll examine the advantages and benefits of each manual transmission, as well as their weaknesses or shortcomings. For this video, I'll be using an Audi TT with a dual-clutch automatic transmission, a gearbox that shifts very quickly and features Sport and Manual modes with paddle shifters or a gear lever. I'll be driving through each of these transmission modes. The BMW has a 5-speed manual transmission. Personally, I prefer manual transmissions because the car does exactly what you want it to do. I believe this can be a plus if you're a technically skilled driver, as you can rev the engine to your liking, enter a curve at high RPMs, etc. However, for those who aren't as experienced, it might be somewhat complicated and could cause stress. Now, regarding current automatic transmissions, I believe their operation has been greatly improved. They are very intuitive and shift very quickly. Perhaps the connection between the machine and the driver is slightly lost since the car shifts autonomously, but this allows the driver to pay more attention to the road. One of the disadvantages of automatic transmissions could be on descents, as they undoubtedly require more braking than a manual transmission.
