Nissan Patrol | Gearbox Rebuild | Part 1

In this video, I strip down the Nissan patrols transmission and transfer case. I investigate the failure of the gearbox, found the 5th gear to have been stripped off the main-shaft. I show first hand the failure of the weak 5th gear in these early patrol gearboxes and the next steps required to repairing the gearbox. All this work was done using basic small hand tools and following the workshop manual for my Nissan Patrol. #patrol #4x4 #gearboxrebuild
