Moth Froth - Episode 5 | Day 3 PredictWind World Champs

Enjoy some (perhaps too!) extended footage that I captured during Day 3 of the PredictWind Moth World Championships. This was the final day of qualifiers before the sailors split into Gold and Silver fleets. The regatta is held at Manly Sailing Club on the Whangaparāoa Peninsula in New Zealand and this was filmed on January 6. When I am filming my main objective is getting quick cinematic looking shots for short Instagram reels - so this is not intended as live stream style race footage. However I have tried to keep this video as unedited and RAW as possible for those interested in the class. *In this video I put Race 2 on Alpha course ahead of Race 1 in the video. We then head over to capture a race on the Bravo course. Today is a lay day and we are commencing Gold Fleet racing tomorrow! Please contact me if you would like to use the footage.
