Our day began at the Chinese cemetery in Nolette, a deeply moving place where the workers of the Chinese Labour Corps are laid to rest. A peaceful, silent place that recalls a little-known chapter of the Great War and invites both respect and reflection. Then, a change of pace: we headed to two welcoming farms where we immediately felt at home. At Les Prés Salés farm, we discovered authentic know-how, local products, and a warm welcome. At Le Bihan farm, the same spirit prevailed: simplicity, kindness, and the feeling of being received like friends passing through. Two perfect places for a stopover in a campervan, quiet, convenient, and full of charm. And of course, it's impossible to leave the region without a stroll in the Bay of Somme… a unique setting, with its ever-changing light, birds, salt marshes, and endless horizon.
