This time, a couple in their late twenties spent the day exploring Tora-san's town of Katsushika/Shibamata, the filming location for the movie "Otoko wa Tsurai yo" (It's Tough Being a Man)! It's been a while since we last took a train... We didn't have to worry about driving, and we enjoyed a delicious beer. 🍻 For next time, we checked out the large parking lot, which is campervan-friendly and costs 500 yen a day. 🅿️ As soon as we got off the station...the platform was filled with Tora-san memes! The approach to the shrine was packed with delicious food to eat on the go! We highly recommend the "Kusa Dango Shop"🍡, which is only open on weekends, and we enjoyed the "Tora-san Tendon" (tempura bowl) that Tora-san ate at a popular tempura restaurant. We were in the mood... watching "The Bear in the Disguise!" " At the Tora-san Memorial Museum, you'll feel as if you've stepped into the world of Tora-san. 🎬 From a stroll in the park along the Edogawa River to your first experience of the Yagiri Ferry, 🚣‍♂️ Finally, you'll encounter the warmth of downtown life at a local oden restaurant 🍢! !!
