Today, my museum video archive captures an interesting bus with a complicated history. A true Moscow bus worker, the famous "box" LiAZ-158V, miraculously survived in service at the capital's 7th Bus Depot until our Initiative Group for the Creation of the Urban Transport Museum officially pushed through the idea of ​​preserving old buses/trolleybuses/trams, and we began collecting these living old vehicles. At first (between 1990 and 2000), everything was going well for both this particular bus we rescued and the Transport Museum as a whole. But then, troubles began... Due to a number of unfavorable circumstances for the Mosgortrans functionaries in and around the museum, the fate of this example was hushed up, surrounded by rumors and speculation.
