A Vintage Pioneer in Excellent Condition.....on the outside - Can It Be Fixed?
Today I’ve picked up a Pioneer SX-700L receiver. On the outside, it looks fantastic — clean, solid, and clearly well cared for. On the inside… not so much. It appears to have spent the last few decades plugged in inside a crypt, slowly sacrificing every bulb and LED to the audio gods. In this video, I crack it open to see what’s really going on under the hood, assess the damage, and attempt to resurrect this currently dead (but still very good-looking) receiver. Will it sing again, or will it remain an expensive metal ornament? Grab a brew, join me, and let’s try to bring this classic back to life 🔧🎶
