All who see them will acknowledge that they are the blessed offspring of the Lord. "I greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul exults in my God, for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation, he has wrapped me in the robe of righteousness, like a bridegroom wearing a turban, like a bride adorned with her jewels. For as the earth yields its harvest, as a garden spreads its seeds, so the Lord God will cause righteousness and praise to spring up before all nations." Luke 2:41-51 Jesus' parents went to Jerusalem every year for the Feast of the Passover. When he was twelve years old, they went there according to the custom of the festival. When they returned from the celebration, the young Jesus remained in Jerusalem, but his parents did not notice. Suppose he was among the pilgrims, they went a day's journey and searched for him among their relatives and acquaintances. When they did not find him, they returned to Jerusalem, searching for him. Only after three days did they find Him in the temple, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions. All who heard Him were astonished at His intelligence and His answers. When they saw this, they were greatly astonished, and His mother said to Him, "Son, why have you done this to us? Behold, your father and I have been looking for you anxiously." But He answered them, "Why were you looking for Me? Did you not know that I must be in My Father's house?" But they did not understand what He said to them. Then He went with them and returned to Nazareth, and was obedient to them.
