Azan in Church​.The first anniversary of the Christchurch shootings on 15 March in Wellington

The Christian Community invited the Muslim Community and other communities to the Church for the first anniversary of the Christchurch shootings on 15 March in Wellington. I’m delighted to have a chance to do Azan Alhamdulillah. Because most people in New Zealand they never heard Azan before. The purpose of giving the azan here is just to share the information about Islam it is not for calling Muslim to pray inside the church. So it is permissible to do so as long as we don’t change the words of the Azan and made a new innovation to please people. The giving of Azan is our Dawah work, many people don't know about Islam and we have to do everything we can to share our religion.   / 163159288605872
