1990s Jolly Roger Coin Operated Boat Kiddie Ride - Mr Blobby

Filmed at Merrivale Model Village, Great Yarmouth on June 11th 2021. This boat was the second Mr Blobby ride to be manufactured by Jolly Roger of Skegness. I believe it was released in 1994, using the same mould as their Popeye ride, also released that year, but with the sailor man replaced by Blobby himself. I was lucky to get to film this rare ride. When I visited earlier in the week, the ride was not there. I happened to walk past the Model Village after closing time on June 10th, and noticed Mr Blobby had replaced the broken Whittaker Brothers' Welephant ride! So I popped back the following morning before we returned to London.
