This week marked my last few days living in Perth before my boyfriend and I hit the road for a three-week drive across the southern coast to Sydney. 🥹 I tried to make the most of it, ticking off a few final Perth bucket list moments like hiking in Bells Rapids Park, sunset dinner at Indigo Oscar in Cottesloe, and my final Parkrun at Galup Reserve before we leave. Most of the week, though, was pure road trip prep! Buying camping gear, organising the car, packing our lives into bags, and figuring out how we’re actually going to survive living out of a car for three weeks on a budget. It’s been a mix of excitement, overwhelm, and a few “what are we even doing?” moments. I also squeezed in some self-care, getting my hair balayaged, saying goodbye to local spots I’ve loved, and mentally preparing to leave the first Australian city I’ve called home.
