【韓国の鶏料理を巡る旅】山のハルモニの台所｜蒸し地鶏鍋と山菜料理

This time, I visited Yesan County in Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea. I explored a mountain restaurant serving traditional native chicken stew, as well as local chicken dishes at Yesan Market. Korea is home to many kinds of chicken dishes beyond just fried chicken — including samgyetang, dakhanmari, baeksuk, and many more. Based on reliable data collected from creators, users, and local communities, the Korean Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Korean Food Promotion Institute are developing the “K Chicken Belt” project — a nationwide map featuring outstanding chicken and poultry restaurants across Korea. The official map, where you can discover delicious chicken restaurants all over the country at a glance, is scheduled to launch in the first half of 2026. (*This video is a promotional collaboration created to introduce more people to the K Chicken Belt project and encourage participation. The restaurants featured were personally selected by me 😊) In Yesan, I encountered a native chicken baeksuk meal created by the mountains, nature, and a hardworking Korean grandmother.
