We visit the world's largest tide and discover why the Burntcoat Head Park is closed right now

We are travelling around Nova Scotia this week, starting at Digby Neck and Island and then driving up the coast of the Bay of Fundy to experience the world's largest tidal range. We then cross to the east and finish this week as we cross onto Cape Breton Island. We're Sarah and Ben, are a couple from the UK that have been travelling for many years. In 2020, when the world went crazy, we bought an empty Mercedes Sprinter van and started converting it into a fabulous home on wheels. Now, we have toured all round Europe, from the southern tip of Portugal, the easternmost shores of Bulgaria and the northernmost tip of Norway, over 300 miles into the Arctic. To explore even more of this fabulous world, we have shipped our van over to Canada and we are embarking on an epic adventure that may eventually end in Ushuaia, the most southerly place it is possible to drive to.
