Manufactured at Beagle Orthopaedic's Custom Fabrication department, our custom insoles give clinicians access to a complete range of foot orthoses. Manufactured from FIB (Foam Impression Boxes) or a Cast to form a mould and then hand rectified to the clinician’s prescription by our experienced team of technicians. All our insoles are handcrafted from start to finish to ensure the patient's pathology and individual anatomy is maintained throughout. There are so many different shapes and sizes of feet with numerous muscles, bones joints and ligaments all affecting the way that we move. This means that no standard off-the-shelf insole can possibly be right for all feet and can sometimes be a false economy. The majority of high street and sports footwear are flat or pre-moulded and offer little or no support to the foot, a custom insole personalises your footwear to match your feet. Moulded exactly to a patient's foot, a true custom insole will distribute the pressure evenly; stabilising and guiding the foot whilst cushioning impact and providing proprioception.
