My 280Z Is So Close to Being Driveable… | Seat Install

This is one of those upgrades that completely changes the feel of the car. In this video I install a set of racing seats in my 2JZ-swapped Datsun 280Z. The install itself was actually pretty straightforward—bolting the sliders to the seats, mocking everything up in the car, drilling new holes in the custom angle iron mounts I built when I replaced the floors, and getting everything bolted in. But the difference it makes is huge. For the first time, the car actually feels like a real car instead of just a project sitting in the garage. As a bonus, I also install an Evil Energy coolant overflow tank to clean things up in the engine bay. We’re getting really close to driving this thing… just a few more things left.
