Galley work - SV Tapatya EP111

Building a cruising sailboat Trials and tribulations in the galley mean it's a short video this week. Some of my initial efforts ended up being ripped out again as design considerations regarding the Dickinson diesel stove led to thinking and rethinking. The galley is making progress; the cupboards and worktops are being built. I discuss the materials used and show how it's going. Then we have a quick look at the Dickinson Bristol diesel stove. The boat is constructed of exterior quality plywood, sealed with epooxy and sheathed in glass fibre and epoxy. One of the great beauties of these boats is that the ballast keel is fitted towards the end of the build, enabling the boat to be kept lower in the shed for most of the construction time. The keel and rudder are fitted shortly before launch. Thank you! Tony
