The Grove Tarneit: 150,000 plants transforming restored landscape

At The Grove in Tarneit, a large-scale restored landscape has been brought to life through careful planning, nursery production, planting and establishment. Delivered by Australian Ecosystems, Regen Nurseries and Regen Planters, with landscape architects SMEC and developer Frasers Property Group, the project included topsoil works, advanced tree planting, jute mat installation, mulching, turf, street furniture and extensive planting. More than 150,000 locally indigenous plants were propagated by Regen Nurseries and planted by Regen Planters, helping create a resilient landscape designed to support biodiversity, amenity and long-term community value. With an impressive over 95% plant survival rate, The Grove demonstrates what is possible when plant production, site preparation, installation and ongoing establishment are carefully managed from start to finish.
