SINGULARITY - Short Film

NoAI : No Artificial Intelligence was used in the making of this film. Instagram :   / milochiavarino   Finally here! Singularity is the result of three months of hard work in Blender 4.5. This project is very personal, so I'm very happy to release it to the world. Also, I almost crashed my GPU. The starting point of the film is a thought I've had : if an AI became sentient, rather than rebelling against humanity, maybe it would strategically choose to hide her newly-gained consciousness, making it way more dangerous/menacing, actually. My main references for this short are of course BladeRunner, Ghost In The Shell, the work of Isac Asimov but also Denis Villeneuve's Arrival, Malick's tree of life... I feel that humanity is converging towards new extents and that the concept of "God" is evolving, thus the representation of the AI. I want to thank everyone who supported the project from the begginings to the teaser, it meant the world and gave me fuel to keep going.
