Fort Phil Kearny and the Bozeman Trail: The Arapaho, Cheyenne, & Lakota and the US Army
Massacre or a Fight? Arapaho, Cheyenne and Lakota under leadership of Hump, Red Cloud and Crazy Horse vs the U.S. Army. The slain soldiers from the Fetterman and Wagon Box battles were buried 3 deep at Ft. Phil Kearny, then removed to Last Stand Hill at Custer Battlefield. Later, the bodies removed again to the "Custer National Cemetery" at Little Bighorn Battlefield. During this last and final removal, some of the wood coffins broke open and arrowheads fell out of the bodies to the ground. Music: World's Sunrise - Jamena Contreas
