Brands Hatch Indy Caterham Lap Analysis Split Screen

Now I've been doing track days for a few years with the Caterham I'm really looking for ways to improve and make sure I'm getting the maximum from myself and the car. This is difficult without lots and lots of time on track and without comprehensive data logging, but it's still possible to learn a lot from video footage. In this video I've taken my two fastest laps from a recent evening session at Brands Hatch Indy with the Lotus 7 Club, and compared them to find out which one was better. The answer isn't clear and a better lap would come from combining elements of each lap here. In Lap 1 I'm too conservative with my braking and made a mistake at Clearways, and in Lap 2 I'm starting to over-drive and made a couple more mistakes. All of the 'data' is done in post and is estimated from the video and what I know of the car and how I drove the laps. It's not meant to be completely accurate but it helps give a picture of which parts of each lap were good, and which were not!
