I Spent a Day in Singapore After Crossing From Malaysia | I Didn’t Expect This 🇸🇬

In this video I start in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, exploring the city for the first time and seeing why so many people cross the border every single day. From cheaper shopping and food to petrol and massages, Johor Bahru has become a hotspot for people coming from Singapore, with over 300,000 people crossing this border daily, making it one of the busiest border crossings in the world. After that, I make my way across the Johor–Singapore Causeway, showing exactly what the process is like and how to cross step by step. From Malaysian immigration to Singapore immigration, this is what it’s really like entering Singapore overland. Once I arrive, I take the Woodlands MRT into the city and share my first impressions of Singapore, from how clean and efficient the metro system is to what it feels like arriving in one of the most developed cities in Asia. I explore Kampong Glam, one of Singapore’s most historic neighborhoods known for its colorful streets, Malay heritage, and vibrant café scene. I also visit Sultan Mosque, originally built in 1824, one of the most important landmarks in the area. Right nearby, I check out one of the most viral cafes in Singapore right now, Tarik. Later on, I head to Marina Bay Sands to watch the iconic light shows at Gardens by the Bay and right in front of Marina Bay Sands, two of the most famous experiences in Singapore.
