GAMBAS PIL PIL - PERFECT PRAWN TAPAS RECIPE
A highly demanded tapas dish 🇪🇸 Good quality prawns are critical here (in my humble opinion) as they are quite obviously the star of the show! I was gifted these babies from @bernardcorriganltd and can’t recommend them enough; can’t wait until I re-stock my freezer with them as they’re so handy due to being de-veined and peeled already 😍 Ingredients 6-8 large peeled and de-veined prawns olive oil 1 or 2 x chillis 3 x garlic cloves handful parsley lemon wedge (optional) paprika (optional) Method 1. Finely chop chilli (retain seeds for heat or discard if you prefer it milder), add to pan with generous amount of oil 2. Prep garlic & parsley but finely chopping and leaving in two separate piles on chopping board 3. Start to heat up oil in pan on medium/high heat - add in prawns once chill starts to sizzle and cook for 2mins 4. Turn over prawns, and add garlic into pan 5. After 1 minute add parsley into pan, retaining some of additional garnish 6. After you’ve cooked prawns for 2mins on other side, take off the heat and garnish with lemon wedge, additional parsley and sprinkling of paprika if desired 7. Serve with crusty bread so you mop up all of that flavoursome oil! _____________
