Gravsend and Dartford Heritage Bus Running Day 2024

The Second Heritage Bus Running Day in Gravsend and Dartford is based at the renowned Bluewater Shopping Complex. London Transport and Maidst & District buses to re-create many of the routes that user link Dartford and Gravesend with the attractive villages south to the A20 and towards Rochester. To start the day, a brand new route, badged "480 Express", with non-stop Routemasters about every 20 minutes calling at Dartford, Bluewater and Gravesend only and using the more direct roads between them. Other buses will run between 10am and 4pm, many on hourly frequencies, with connections to give participants a choice of routes to ride during the day. We plan to visit places within an arc bounded by Swanley, Farningham, West Kingsdown, Meophn, Rochester and Cliffe. It will be re-creating the routes between Gravesend, Longfield and the surrounding villages previously operated by other members of the class. Filmed on: 13/10/2024
