Today I'm doing something my colleagues would never do, and I know they'll criticize me. But I'm crazy, and I've decided to show you how to achieve excellent results when applying resin or microcement without having to use expensive machinery and equipment. Of course, not all that glitters is gold; this is a laborious job that requires technical skill (I myself have worked with a professional technician) and patience, as well as the right equipment. However, I'll show you that with a little skill, you can easily lay your own floor. Be careful, it's also essential to divide the work among several people; you can't expect to be able to cover a 30 square meter or more floor by yourself without any experience. By dividing the work between several people, this becomes feasible. First, we cleaned the surface; all you need is ammonia, running water, and a mop. Then we filled the floor joints with microcement. Finally, we applied the microcement. Remember to always sand the surface between coats. To do this, you can use a random orbital sander (since ours broke during the job, I bought one at a DIY store for a small price and it worked well), sandpaper, and elbow grease. To spread the resin (or microcement), you need to use iron rollers (you can see them in the video). Finally, you'll need short-haired "Moher" rollers to spread the protective resin. Simple, right? If you have any questions, message me; I always reply to everyone. Hi, and if you've read this far, comment with "artepiana love."
