"Parabol/Parabola" from Tool's "Lateralus" album (2001). I can't believe it. I've been struggling for months with this tuning. I cut the lowest two strings to move them up a string, but they were too thick so I ruined the first pack of string. The second pack was the other way around. Cut the higher strings and moved them down, but they were too thin so the strings kept buzzing like crazy. Then I took some strings from another bass to make it work, only to find out that it was a different scale, so I also ruined that bass. I finally managed to make it work by cutting off about 10% of the strings. I definitely don't want to do this again. ANYWAY, Parabol/Parabola.. We've all been waiting for it, but here it finally is. I was actually hoping that CoverSolutions would do it, but he seems to be very busy with his Patreon requests, so I just had to try. I'm pretty happy with how it sounds. Oh also, the notes are 99,9% correct because I used the original bass recording as a guide. Some positions might be wrong, but the notes are definitely correct.
