Tips from The Anime Collector - Budgeting: Collecting is an Addiction

Today we talk about how serious the collection addiction could potentially get. This tip is intended as more of a wake up call but I think the tip itself will still be beneficial to all collectors. If you find yourself struggling to maintain control over this addiction, try some of these tips and stay vigilant! There are public libraries that have anime in their dvd sections (I would actually go into this one warned, if it were me, I would feel like I would need to own the shows I watched from the library) Try to find some other hobbies to occupy your time. Get some exercise, even if you are just walking around the block, take nine deep breaths of fresh air while you're at it! Keep a card in your wallet that lists the things you need to be saving your money for. Make sure you are forced to look at it every time you take out your wallet. Condition yourself to cognitively think about rent, gas, food, etc every time you take out your wallet. This tip won't work if you start ignoring the card altogether.
