Reserve Deploy Mystic - Mick Armstrong over Emily Spur NTVO 2013
On the last day the NTVO (SkyHigh Paragliding Club competition) Mick Armstrong went nose to nose with some of Mystics finest punchy spring thermals. I wasn't far away from calling it quits for the day as the cycles were punchy tight and short lived so not really worth being up for.... I happened to catch Micks incident on my go pro as I turned back towards launch.... Watching my friend heading down and fast was not a good thing to see... Thankfully he managed to deploy with just a few seconds to spare... Mick has given me permission to share this experience so that others may learn from it...
