Linking 2 Air Compressors to Boost Your Air Supply #diy #aircompressor #tools
I decided to take on a task of linking my old air compressor with my new one so I could boost the air supply for higher consumption tools. Old Compressor: Kobalt 8 Gallon @ 150 PSI (4.0 CFM @ 90 PSI) New Compressor: Husky 20 Gallon @ 165 PSI (4.0 CFM @ 90 PSI) For this project, I wanted to have the ability to link the output of my smaller compressor to pump air directly into the tank of my larger one. I also wanted to have each compressor function as a standalone compressor, and have them easily connect and disconnect. Here is how I did it!
