BREAKING: Iran Seizes Ships; U.S. Pounds in Hormuz; IDF On War Alert | TBN Israel

TBN Israel’s Yair Pinto and Mati Shoshani and Ashlea Alex report on the Israel-Iran and regional war. The United States has completed a ninth consecutive night of overwhelming strikes against Iran, targeting military command centers, air defense sites, missile and drone launch sites, and communications networks. For the first time since the memorandum of understanding, the U.S. expanded the strike zone to Tabriz in northwestern Iran, where facilities connected to Iran’s missile program are located. Iran has seized two cargo ships in the Strait of Hormuz and is threatening that “not a single drop of oil or gas” will leave through the strait as long as American operations continue. The renewed escalation around Hormuz could endanger up to 30 percent of global maritime trade, while the U.S. says its strikes are meant to weaken Iran’s ability to attack commercial vessels and civilian mariners. Iran fired toward Bahrain, Kuwait, Jordan, and Syria, while sirens were activated in Gulf states and American defense systems intercepted Iranian launches. Dozens of American soldiers have been wounded in four Iranian attacks on bases in Jordan over the past week, and two U.S. soldiers were killed. President Trump said Iran has “lost almost everything militarily” and dedicated the latest strikes to the American soldiers who were killed. More and more American assets and forces have been arriving in Israel, raising the question of what the U.S. military is positioning at its bases inside the country. For now, Washington prefers Israel to remain outside the direct circle of attacks, but Israel remains on alert for possible escalation with Iran, Hezbollah in Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza. Israel is watching Hezbollah closely while Iran tries to rebuild the ring of fire around Israel. The IDF is preparing decisions regarding Hezbollah tunnel networks in the Beaufort Ridge and Ali Taher Ridge, while southern Lebanon’s terrorist infrastructure between the border and the Yellow Line faces systematic destruction. The Revolutionary Guards are trying to prove they still control the Strait of Hormuz, while the United States is striking deeper inside Iran and warning that diplomacy must be real.
