Dota 2 Overthrow 3.0 | Pangolier Gameplay

Hey look. It's Dota's resident furry bait. Also known as the CCnC special. I have a weird history with Pangolier. I didn't play him at all the first few years he was out. Then during COVID, I racked up a ton of games on him. Mostly as position 3. Sometimes as a 4 if we were lacking support. I never ended up doing well with him though. I think my record is something like 15W-20L. Not something to be proud of, for sure. He feels very old-fashioned semi-carry to me. That is to say, he shines mid-game, but falls off a cliff in the later stages of the game. That's pretty much how this match of Dota Overthrow played out too. Amazing in the early game. Swashbuckle rips heroes apart. Especially with an early Diffusal Blade. But late game I feel lost. Like, am I just a walking Rolling Thunder. Which, as someone who sucks at using Rolling Thunder, is a real big problem. Clearly I lack mastery with the dude. I've seen people excel greatly with the guy throughout a match before.
