Using distance to nearest hub (line) and the NNjoin plugin to calculate distance to polygons in QGIS
In addition to the Distance to nearest hub (point) tool in QGIS, the Distance to nearest hub (Line) has its uses, especially for visualisation purposes. All of the Distance to nearest Hub fools are however problematic on polygons and in these situations, the NNjoin plugin comes in handy.
