Bonus Atkins was just 24, and much loved, when he took his life, becoming yet another statistic in the high rate of suicide amongst gang-affiliated rangatahi. Collective grief has now brought together a community working to improve access to mental health for gang whānau and Māori inmates. Bonus' partner Jade Taare, psychologist Dr Armon Tamatea, and Corrections' Emma Gardner talk about the issue.
