The weather throws up surprises: from unbearable heat to long-awaited coolness, and a simple walk after work can stir up deep and very personal memories. Monday: The morning began on the balcony—the heat was unbearable from the early hours, but work was still on. On the way, I literally had to run from one shady spot to another. 🥵 I walked back in the evening, when the sun was no longer so scorching. On the way to the bus stop, I noticed St. John's wort in bloom. This modest flower took me back in time... I remembered how my parents once upon a time used to go to the ravine, collect it, and dry it for winter tea. My husband also loved drying various medicinal herbs and drinking them in the winter. But then cancer came... A disease that never asks anyone for advice. These thoughts really touched me. 🌿💔Tuesday: The weather didn't let up, it was very hot again. I threw all the conventions aside and now I go to work exclusively in shorts—it makes this sultry weather much easier to bear. 🩳☀️Wednesday (today): Salvation has finally arrived! I'm showing you the long-awaited rain right from the balcony. It's fresh and cool outside. 🌧️🥰I'm starting my morning in a new way: instead of my usual coffee, I'm making myself some healthy water with honey.
