Skid Pro Stump Bucket, Is It A Homestead Must Have?

With time on our projects being limited, it only makes sense to work and acquire equipment to be as efficient with the time we have on site as possible. SkidPro's Stump Bucket with grapple turns out to be more than a stump removing monster! Combined with the grapple which is optional (BUT SHOULDN'T BE!!!) it is an extremely useful multi tool at a very fair price especially when you factor in how many uses it turns out to have! It not only digs/rips/pops stumps out of the way, it can also grab trees to pick up and move, snap them in half at times, hold trees from the trunk end out level and off the ground for easy stripping, logging, and bucking without back pain. Loading logs, rocks, etc into truck or trailer beds just became a snap as well. The bucket end is narrow enough and the grapple strong enough that you can hold a tree, or log from the end and still cut a short enough piece to use for firewood once the round is split. This SkidPro stump bucket turned out to be much more useful when teamed up with our Bobcat T190 than we could have ever expected for our Alaska dream shop-stead / homestead. It's hard defining what our project really is. The original intent for it was to speed up stripping the lawn stumps out. As always I was distracted and ended up using it to start roughing in a new road, move trees, move logs, take down dead/dangerous trees, buck rounds fire wood, split stumps in place with the excavator teeth on it that wouldn't pop out nicely. I am not affiliated with SkidPro other than being a paying customer, but I have to say... when you order their equipment, you end up with more than you pay for in the long run! I have their 7224 snow blower as well and it is insane!
