Painting Armies Doesn't Have To Be a KNIGHTMARE | Victrix Norman Warband Review & Tutorial

My full build and paint process for the Victrix Norman Warband! The Stormin’ Normans! I walk through assembly, basing, how I approach painting a whole army, how I tackle chainmail, freehand shields, banners, and finally the showcase. If you are looking for ideas on painting Normans or want a closer look at the Victrix kit, this should help. Victrix Normans are often used for historicals like Saga, Pillage, and Hail Caesar (Which I am eager to start) but I’m using them for general tabletop and RPG play. I am especially excited to break them out for D&D and I’ve already used them in Warlords of Erehwon! This is my first time working with Victrix minis and they are fantastic. Great sculpts and a fun painting challenge, even with the mountain of chainmail. If you are looking for a versatile 28mm Dark Age kit with a lot of character, or any mob of dudes with swords and shields, this one is worth checking out. If you have any questions about the process or the models feel free to drop a comment! Originally I had planned the video to be "Painting Armies is a Knightmare" but decided that while the pun was cool, it broadcasted a negativity that I did not think fit the experience or process. So is it a knightmare? Is it not?
